Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively supervise the HR team on HR functions and maintain the discipline and cohesiveness of the team working towards achieving the corporate objectives.
  • Induct, train, coach and develop members, include conducting orientation for new employees.
  • Manage training budget, monitor training plan and maintain training record within the group.
  • Develop and maintain the Standard Operation Procedures or internal procedures
  • Stay up to date with employment laws and labor regulations to ensure compliance and best practices within the group.
  • Able to communicate effectively and concisely with both internal and external stakeholders, through written and verbal communication, while ensuring timely responses.
  • Participate and contribute actively either as the Chairperson or as a member in the various committees of the company or any other company wide gathering.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor / Top Management.

Job Requiremente:

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience, preferable in marine/engineering/construction industry.
  • Be able to recognise problems and solve problems effectively.
  • Adaptable, proactive and responsible.
  • Good interpersonal skills, pleasant disposition and professional in approach.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written and good team player.
